CC, I'm only going to say this once. Consider this my annual gift to the Democrat party. No strings attached. Your base was on strike. You guys didn't see the picket signs in time but they were there. Your moderates for the most part stayed at home and a few crossed over. The reason is your party's stance on the war. It seems your party has aligned with outside interests who care nothing about the welfare of the US (i.e., that trip to Baghdad). That alone has driven many away from your party. You see, ...Americans understand the importance of national security and especially as it relates to the economy. Your party is viewed as obstructionist to security concerns and apathetic to the welfare of the country. Your party continues to separate the economy from the war. You can't. They are intrinsically interwoven.
