UPS increasing prices? That's not deflation. So far, despite years of worries and woes, there isn't any of that deflation yeti rampaging on the streets.

Dry Gulch Dan found tracks of the beast, but not the actual monster.

Uncle Al KBE is pixelating new $$ at a torrential rate. They are being absorbed. Deflation remains just a scary Taniwha [mythical Maori dragon thing].

My bet remains that we'll see inflation and rising interest rates, though the latest 0.5% cut was a surprise showing that the Fed figures there's quite a bit of economic mayhem still in the offing.
