Let''s see now that Nov 5th is over if we still get the "Nitwit Bush" columns from Dowd, et al. The man talks like a Texan Methodist, which he is, and this disqualifies him from office in the minds of many of our Northeastern Liberals.

You can't get around the fact that every goal he has set out to meet in this war on terror has been met.

David, of course, has a stake in asserting that the policy has been consistent, since he was one of the authors of the "axis of evil" line...

I know and like Frum, and think he's very smart, but he's also VERY right-wing (his book "Dead Right" argued that as president Reagan was sort of a comsymp sellout<g>), and he's not necessarily a neutral observer of this admin's policy. Still, from what I hear his forthcoming memoir will be very interesting to read--the first "43" kiss-and-tell--and will apparently argue, among other things, that the administration was heading for deep doo-doo when 9/11 came along and changed everything...
