My lovely wife works for a company here in town...it rhymes with Shmargill, -g-, and the 401(k) selections are pathetic. I'm glad you brought that up about the MMF's, I had that on my radar to look into for her but put it off.

I think you and I should meet up at Metris headquarters tonight and egg & TP them. -g-

Our 401K plan does not offer anything completely safe. The safes offered is Money Market fund. They do over a guaranteed fund but it is only guaranteed by a Life Insurance company and once you put it in you can not withdraw for 5 years, (if you do you lose any interest earned and some principle).

We have very little choice of positions. The 401K plans want you fully invested in the Stock Market. I am not happy but what choice do we have.
