To play the popping of the UK real estate bubble go to igindex.co.uk and open an account.

You can bet on average house price futures quoted in thousands. For instance you can make a £1000 bet that average house prices are going down. If houses prices go down 10k then you have just made £10k (less spread). If they go up 10k, you have to send a cheque for £10k to them. No capital required up front but they assess your means to create a credit limit. They may require a deposit for non UK citizens/residents.

Because it's legally classed as a bet, and there is no betting tax in the UK, you don't have to give any profits to the tax man. You can also bet on shares, indices, commodities etc.

If anyone does open an account, please send me a PM so we can both benefit from the referral scheme!
