There used to be a large contingent of Vietnamese in the east until the fall of the Berlin wall. Right now, the majority of newcomers (its just an educated guess) in Germany comes from southern and eastern Europe. The biggest ethnic minority in Germany being the Turks. With US driving hard for Turkey joining EU, we may end up eventually with Turks playing the role of European Latinos down the road...
