TWICK,

We have had good discussion on thoughts of adding diversity to 401k's here at SI. If you go to this post and follow the responses and discussions you will get some great ideas.

TWICK,

A couple of funds I would like for a 401k are the First Eagle SoGen Funds Inc Global Fund and First Eagle SoGen Funds Inc Overseas Fund. The managers of these funds are value stock pickers and use a fair amount of Graham's approach to investing. They have the world of capital assets to pick from and have been successful through thick and thin. These investors look forward to economic downturns as capital assets get cheap and they can buy valuable assets. I do not know if the First Eagle folks do business with 401k providers but you could ask your folks to find out.
