Fred - you seem good at playing with numbers but what has that got to do with the Revelation of Christ?

Yes 1,3,7,14,40,400 Biblical numbers in general show that the world is ordered after a God of order but you have said nothing to prove that God is not a 3 person Godhead

Your link also seems quite pleased that prophecies are being fulfilled today in Israel. I utterly disagree.

I do have some problems however with how some Creeds set forth their concept of the Trinity. Perhaps we could agree in some small way in that.

WCF - In the unity of the Godhead there be three persons, of one substance, power, and eternity: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost: the Father is of none, neither begotten, nor proceeding; the Son is eternally begotten of the Father; the Holy Ghost eternally proceeding from the Father and the Son.

I do not get where they come up with this "eternally begotten" and the "eternally proceeding" mentality. I think that is popycock.

I have however looked at the scriptures skeptically on the subject and do find the 3 person Godhead revealed there both New and Old Testimonies.

To say that Our God is ONE and yet THREE in a World where people served various gods who would have war one with another seeking to rule over each other and compete for dominion. It is not an out of place use of the concept of ONENESS in such a setting.

Stan is quite legitimate in his use of these English Words:

‘Hear, O Israel, Jehovah our God is one Jehovah

They could be read:

Jehovah (singular)the Gods (plural) of us, is one God(singular)

Some Hebrew scholars will argue that the middle term is generic and could be taken either way but none will argue it is singular. They usually state such knowing why the question is being asked and desiring to deny the doctrine. Most of those who say such deny that Christ was God at all.

They have an Agenda :-)

There are quite a few verses that when viewed without prejudice reveal the plurality of the True God of scripture.

I met some swedenborgians before here where I live. I was going to rent their church building but that all fell through due to a lack of interest. The church was not doing too well and they seemed to have 90% women. I think they were hurting a little financially as well. If I could have gotten enough interest to hold classes, I would have gladly held classes there. Some people however expressed that 'being seen' in that church could 'appear bad'.
I suppose eating with sinners may even look worse but what do I know.
