In light of your discussion, what explains recent price movements (if not the value of the spectrum)? Did institutional investors see Jon buying and decide it was time? Could larger investors buy shares of thinly traded stocks (to lure small investors to buy) and then change directions and go short? Seems like this would be an effective ploy to use with stocks that have a high degree of investor sentimentality/loyalty (that SEEM to have recently had an abrupt reversal of fortune). Would market makers play games like this to milk stocks to the highest degree (before BK)? What's the old saying, if it seems too good to be true...
