Sad......but probably so true.

WE will need to get on the bandwagon and fight back. It may be easier for us to reveal their true agenda. We will need to expose the truth...that's all we'll need.

"And the best part was that the Dems didn't know what to do. They were so unbelievably disspirited and disorganized. They wanted to slam us on the Iraq issue but couldn't or they'd risk revealing themselves for the unpatriotic wimps they are, so a lot felt obliged to vote with us. When key Dem leaders like Daschle and Gephardt and Feinstein and Kerry voted with us, I knew the election was in the bag."

I couldn't believe Bush had the nerve to show his face on Veteran's Day! Look how he got out of VietNam,
and so did Cheney, Ashcroft and Tom DeLay, to name a few
. When Bush called he Democrats
unpatriotic, they should have called him a liar.

Bush turned out for Veteran's Day. I laughed because W is a hypocrite.
Did you know that W and the Republicans called Sen. Max Cleland of Georgia unpatriotic?
Mr. Cleland, a VietNam veteran, returned from Vietnam with one arm and no legs.

Why didn't the Democrats call Bush, Cheney and DeLay liars?

Why Tom DeLay didn't go to Vietnam

"So many minority youths had volunteered for the well-paying military positions to escape poverty and the ghetto that there was literally no room for patriotic folks."

Why Cheney didn't go to Vietnam.

I believe Cheney said he had better things to do.

How Bush avoided Vietnam

Why W didn't go to Vietnam:

The following is an excerpt from article:
realchange.org

"Most people have heard something about George W. Bush pulling
strings to get into the Texas Air Guard. But the press, while reporting
lots of details, has done a poor job of communicating how consistently
and shamelessly Bush Jr. sought and received favorable treatment
while he avoided Vietnam.

Furthermore, his story has repeatedly changed -- he has weaseled
like Clinton at his worst and even flat-out lied when explaining what
happened.

To put it in perspective, here are 9 ways Bush got favored treatment
in the service due to his political connections (he was then son of a
Congressman and grandson of a former Senator):
1) He got into the Guard by pulling strings, avoiding the year and a half waiting list;
2) He took a 2-month vacation in Florida after just 8 weeks, (1 of 3 leaves), to work on a political campaign;
3) Bush skipped Officer Candidate School and got a special commission as a 2nd Lieutenant, without qualifications;
4) He was assigned to a safe plane (being phased out of active service), the F-102 ;
5) During flight school, he was flown on a government jet to Washington for a date with President Nixon's daughter Tricia ;
6) Bush got an illegal transfer (later overruled) to a base with no work;
7) He simply didn't show up for a YEAR, with no penalty;
8) George W. skipped all his medical exams after they started drug tests, and was removed from flight status;
9) He ended his service 10 months early to go to
Harvard Business School;"
