start taking Coenzyme Q10, 30 mgs twice a day

I had gum surgery maybe twenty years ago. My gums have been pretty stable ever since. Still, I do what I can to help them out. I just recently added Q10 to the list of supplements I take, although I didn't realize it was so good for the gums. I will watch for the effect you describe. A little serendipity would be nice.

Which reminds me, we once talked about mercury in fillings. This past summer I made some changes in my diet and have turned into a sashimi freak. I got an email the other day from a friend warning me off eating all that fish due to mercury. I swear, the harder you try to do the healthy thing, the more you run into trade-offs.
