BUY!>> we can not yet have a bottom by virtue of the fact that so many analytical types are bent on trying to associate prior bullish scenarios w/ the current economic environment. this bear continues to defy the hardened notions of conventional wisdom relative to historical data. i'm afraid its scope is much larger than most people can appreciate. one needn't look any further than the market's reaction to 12 successive rate cuts. counter-intuitive.. if you're a bull for instance... instead of agreeing that the widely followed volatility index should oscillate between approx 40 and 20.. maybe technicians should be thinking about the possibility of a prolonged uptrend. maybe the index's all time high should be targeted. jmo
