"Another thing I disliked is that the new update advisor can update itself automatically." at this time, i allow no programs on either of my machines or any of my three operating systems to perform auto updating. it goes against my better judgement to let these updates occur without me having at least the opportunity to view the contents of the update. "it checks for updates every 5 minutes" sounds like me searching for nav defs :) mark
