Joan,

I owned Novartis. I came real close to buying Nestles. I looked at Lindt and Sprungli but it wasn't cheap enough at the time. There were others I glanced at, but I was looking for big names because I was new to European investing.

I made money with Novartis. Nestles rallied like crazy from the price at which I was interested. I haven't followed any of these companies in a long time, I don't know what the valuations look like now.

I also made some money in TeleDanmark , Cadbury Schwepps, a conglomerate in Sweeden (can't even remember the name), Scottish and Newcastle, and a few others.

buying ADR's is not going to allow you to participate in the
dollar decline, is it?
