Actually the term "Buddha" literally means "Awakened One"...

So often in your own scriptures there are references to this idea of the sleeper awakened from a dark sleep , or
bringing the dead back to life .

The concept of Buddha nature refers to the one experiencing this in themselves , and there have been many Buddhas and continue to always be , so in this you can say that Buddha overcomes death easily . It is not done for you , but you must do it for yourself . Nothing is condemned to eternal hell either . Such a lovely concept that .

The whole point of the exercise is tolerance , compassion and love no ? So let the light shine brother and as I told you before stop erecting all your humble fences . Jesus was preoocupied with saving his own tribe in his day , and in studying you I find that this is still true to this day .

I am but only sent unto the sons of the tribe of Israel

or some such silly stuff .

When Jesus waxes most eloquent , it is then that he begins to sound more like "a" Buddha , or "awakened one" , which sometimes he did very well at. Buddha's message was universal and not exclusive to any one tribe at all , which is why the message cannot be ignored and has so much wide and universal appeal . While the Christians and followers of the Prophet fight and argue , Buddha lives on quite well in the background beyond the "noise", unextinguished .
