I believe that the above is true. Just as Saddam justifies his position with his popularity, the missing element is of course the ability to safely express thought without the thought police on campus, the work place, the media etc rendering your opinion worthless or even criminal, if it doesn't fit the PC liberal dogma.

Saddam has what they (the left) really want. The ability to tell you how to think and what to say. Once that occurs, we can truly be happy in the USA. We will all be one and think the same. Bad thinking will be punished and good thinking, equally rewarded. The will of Landru ;)
