...take something that functions perfectly well out of the hands of private business and turn it over to government? Government already collects more information that can be imagined, but agencies control and politicize it so that what we get is always biased in favor of bigger government. What's needed is full and open disclosure of all public data and programs in realtime, with the sole exception of bona-fide military secrets, of which there are almost none. What needs to be removed is the wealth-transfer activities of government. See my previous post as an example.
