SEEC From Forbe's list of battered stocks.

Is the one that seems to be performing well today.<g>

As per Forbe's article: It has no debt and has total cash and equivalents of $12 M.It has a CR of 10

In the Q ended in September, the loss was down to $0.14/share from its previous $0.24/share and revenues increased 44% to $869,000 while its operating expenses fell 19% to $1.8 M

The stock has been selling at less than half its net cash per share.

Now what it probably also needs is to have A.Albenson write a little note about it in Barron's like he did in November 1998.<g>

AMSWA Was up 6.15% on volume of 52,400 (about 1.78x its daily average.)

With today's move, the stock moved ahead of its last reported cash/share of $2.69 but the stock is still selling at 0.87 of book and 0.9 of sales.

It reported yesterday its 7th consecutive Q on the black and had an increase of 24% in license fees but lower overall revenues.<g> The PE is around 10

At any rate, the stock seems to be making good moves since its October10-October15 double bottom at the $2,10 level.

The L term average is still slightly above the M average, and the stock still has to deal with the August22-23-26 triple top at the $3.14 level and then with the more important March-June double top at $3.80 <g>

The PSML data on AMSWA as of today: 2.76 2.65 2.57 & 2.59

KEYN From the "Watch List od Battered Stocks"><g>

Showed good strength at the end of trading today with some up-ticks in the last 8 minutes before the close.

But it still needs to close above its November 21 H of 8.29 <g>

The stock is still selling at 0.8 of book and below its reported cash/share of $8.58.

Against it is the fact that insiders and institutions have done significant selling, but the short ratio is about 14x the daily volume.
