Were medical relief always perfectly beneficial and professionally provided, and/or were all patients honest, then there would be no need for the gov't/the courts to step in. So it isn't necessarily the gov't that's flawed but rather the people who make up the system. People will never be perfect. Doctors will make mistakes, patients will be dishonest, ect. But this has always been the case and we didn't use to have a legal lottery like we do today. Tim, that's true. In the past MDs were gods, and malpractice issues were swept under the rug. ted
