>> NCN doesn't seem to be doing much - why ? <<

No reason that I can figure out. From 1998 through 2001 they have increased reserves: 120--156--189--247 bcf of gas and 19--21--33--48 mmbbls for oil.

in the same period (plus 2002E)production has gone 38--49--49--67--74E mmcf/day for gas and 5436 6079 6485 9608--12500E bbls/day for oil

So while declines are reported or predicted for Canada as a whole, NCN is increasing.

Maybe some people who follow these things are selling NCN and shifting over to even higher-paying trusts. (PVX paying over 21%)

I bet a vast majority of U.S. investors don't even know that such a thing as a Canadian royalty trust exists, and would be suspicious of it if they did know about it. After all, NCN is not a household word like Dell, eBay, or Amazon, or IBM, etc.
