Max pain works on QQQ CSCO MSFT INTC most of the time.
In fact my definition of "works" says max pain will be reached SOMETIME during expiry wekk but not necessarily close there.

Using that definition, max pain has worked EVERY month this year but June.

Last month we rallied right up thu max pain and kept right on running. But since it hit expiry week I call that a victory. The fact that delta hedging sent it beyond max pain is irrelevant to my model.

10 out of 11 is pretty damn good success rate.
That is on QQQ.
The most reliable.
