My numbers use the Black Scholes estimates of stock option value at date of grant and then amortize them over the vesting period of the options. I know you disagree with this method. Perhaps the impact on earnings looks extra bad for Cisco because GAAP earnings, .25 EPS, were low for fiscal 2002. I haven't looked at CISCO and MSFT closely enough to draw a very strong comparative conclusion.
