Dear JF: I dont think anyone thinks Saddam would use any weapon OFFENSIVELY and OPENLY against USA (although he MIGHT against Israel if he though he could get away with it). The fear is that he would COVERTLY slip some of this shit to terrorists (like a suitcase bomb or even bigger fitting on a freighter) and we would be unable to trace HIS fingerprints back to him. Even today there is a RUMOR, uncertain as to truth, that Timothy McVeigh was meeting with Iraqui intelligence agents prior to Oklahoma bombing. But, even more importantly if he HAD the BOMB he likely would never HAVE to use it, just HAVING it would make his neighbors so nervous he would exert a disproportionate influence on the region and likely control the industrialized countries through threat of oil embargoes and the like. Man like Saddam cant be allowed to have that much potential power, he has shown through his actions in the past HE WILL USE THAT POWER. From what I hear, his sons even worse. JDN
