I agree that there is no "license" or "upgrade" fee for supported applications users to upgrade from Oracle Apps 10 to 11i. I'm not an apps person, but if Apps 10 runs client-server and Apps 11 is ONLY web-deployed, there will be costs involved in the upgrade since an application server (will 11i run on anything other than O9iAS?) is now required.

Oracle has also sent out the desupport notices for their client-server developer tools (Oracle Forms/Oracle Reports). I think we have about 2 years left before all of those custom built applications must be migrated to the web deployed model or we run unsupported.
