We know..it's their oil baby.

Their oil is obviously part of it. If we can insure a steady supply while knocking off a dictator who lusts for nukes, it looks like a really good deal to me.

The oil wouldn't be such a big issue if we didn't have nitwit liberal fanatics who insist we shouldn't develop our own resources. Either issue, taken alone, is sufficient. The fact that we free the Iraqi citizenry is a huge plus..

If Uganda had a record of invading its neighbors, and was developing nuclear weapons, and was ruled by a dictator who in recent years had been hostile to the US, and was developing ballistic missiles, and was unpopular in the US, and had provided support for terrorism, and had violated a cease fire agreement and enough UN resolutions to provide us a pretext, I think we would have already kicked out its dictator (because it would be an easier thing to do then it will be in Iraq).
