Don't forget that those sanctions were in place during all eight years of the Clinton administration. Funny how the liberals never whined about the "inhumanity" of the sanctions until Bush took office.

It may seem brutal, but it is not nearly as brutal as the alternative of leaving these people to suffer under the rule of Saddam for another year, decade, or whatever
