Yey for Tom Petty. Now for serious analysis: I heard somewhere that people are more likely to buy stocks on sunny days. I tend to believe this, problem is which weather report do you follow? NYC? Or maybe design a %SunnyExchange indicator? Any thoughts on this? :)

I think all that talk of beautiful weather in LA area is skewing things bullish today.. Can't blame Seattle in any case -best you can hope for here in "sun breaks" (never heard this ridiculous term before moving here..). Hmm, wonder if there are more bears west of the Cascades than, say, Southern California.
