(Nasdaq:NTAP - News) today announced results for the second quarter of fiscal year 2003. Revenues for the second quarter were $215.2 million, compared to revenues of $194.7 million for the same period a year ago, and $206.8 million in the prior quarter. For the second quarter, GAAP net income was $15.8 million, or $0.05 per share, compared to net loss of $11.2 million, or $0.03 net loss per share for the same period in the prior year. Pro forma net income for the second quarter was $17.5 million, compared with $7.7 million for the same period a year ago. Pro forma earnings per share for the second quarter was $0.05 per share compared with $0.02 per share for the same period a year ago. Revenues for the first six months of the current fiscal year totaled $422.0 million, compared to revenue of $395.1 million for the first six months of the prior fiscal year. For the first six months of the current fiscal year, GAAP net income was $32.0 million, or $0.09 per share, compared with net loss of $11.7 million, or $0.04 net loss per share for the same period in the prior year. Pro forma net income for the first six months of the current fiscal year totaled $35.5 million, or $0.10 per share, compared to pro forma net income of $12.4 million, or $0.04 per share for the first six months of the prior fiscal year.
