Lizzie, do you really want to download something to your hard drive that has a built in erasure feature? I'll bet the hackers will have a ball using something like that as a Trojan Horse.

I see your point but I had the same security concerns with p2p file sharing... you know when you log on it scans your drives looking for stuff, at first this was a true concern of mine but eventually I decided I couldn't live without p2p. My guess is these media station PCs end up getting used for media stuff and then all your business files, msft and other office junk stays on the laptop.

Yah I know cisco is hiring now... a few at a time, contractors in IT. It started a month ago before earnings, I posted it here. I think their bottom line is improving fwiw, and costs should be coming down with all this indian outsourcing available. Doesn't matter in a bear mkt, I understand, the stock could still go down. But one thing the bulls have here is improving fundamentals for the first time in 3 years. A caviat is China though, apparently they are building out internet infrastructure with gov't money and it is overbuilt now just like the US. At some point that gravy train ends and Cisco takes a hit... the only issue is will the other mkts pick up the slack.
