Accounting Board Chairman Webster to Resign, People Say.

Washington, Nov. 12 (Bloomberg) -- William Webster will
resign as chairman of the new accounting oversight board, a Bush
administration official said. He is to issue a statement
addressing his tenure on the board at 2:30 p.m., New York time.
Clara Helbringer, Webster's secretary at Milbank, Tweed,
Hadley & McCloy in Washington said tomorrow's first meeting of the
oversight board is still scheduled to take place.
