The above comment was more of a semi-witty observations on the status of the entire gold mining business, not just Newmont. It is sure a lot of work to move lots of earth, process lots of ore, and refine a lot of gold to get what, $20 per ounce ? But hey, they love it, we love it, and the gold keeps coming.
