I've always invested in groups and sectors and I've always traded on technical analysis. I enjoy thinking about the fundamentals, but understand they can be misleading.

"A truly good technician should be able to make money shorting a type of stock" ....... well, this part of your statement is probably true, but that doesn't mean a good technician would choose to go short a stock, nor, for me, is shorting a substitute for investing.

Since you've updated your profile, you should know how to check on the profile of others. You've also shown you are adept at searching for the historical posts of others. A little deductive reasoning would have led you to the Group Therapy thread.
