Unfortunately, the next terrorist to slaughter humans here in the USA may have many similar appearances to the Canadian pictured in the article you linked. I am blonde haired and blue eyed and I had a series of several flights over several weeks that were scheduled on short notice and or one way. I got the full treatment on every link and did not like it. But I understand the benefit of focusing limited resources on the highest probability of catching a threat. I was within sight of the WTC attack and realize what a real inconvenience and discrimination is. I am sympathetic to the problems you encounter. But the safest and fastest means to the end is to profile. Until the terrorists convert Anglo-Saxons to their cause the odds favor screening. Most every ethnic group or race has paid a certain price of admission to the land of the free. Ask Americans of Chinese descent who may have been here for 125 years. Your price of admission may be higher than you like, but there is little you can do about it.
