You understand what I meant. It is hard to comment seriously about such a response.

Last February a top TI executive made a presentation to a Lehman analyst conference and said not one word, nada about wCDMA. And no one asked him a question on it.

Now this. Hard to believe.

TI's comments speak volumes when one considers that w-cdma will not arrive until a "majority" of the current GSM phones are replaced with GPRS models. Why confuse the consume with yet another choice. They're just milking the old cow for every last "good" drop.

What's happened to the Dot Wireless crowd? Have they been sent on an extended holiday or is their intelligence jusy being packaged into a "still unnecessary" Big Bang?
