I suspect that between overhead cuts and some decent PR rated chips AMD could at least cut the losses in the next couple of quarters. If Opteron slips no more then AMD will survive easily until then. Everything appears ready but the chip.

OTOH, all of Intels prices will be racheted downward as usual when the P4 3.06 is introduced.

AMD is probably again becoming a risky buy but a buy none the less.
