Hmmmmmmmmm.......isn't Pelosi the rep from CA. Let's see.....CA has 54 electoral college votes [and we've learned how important they are] and 34 million people.

You may want to examine the electoral colege, and recent voting trends. You would know that Dems MUST WIN in California to avoid a complete dabacle. Another MUST WIN state for Dems is New York. I have read some rumors that Bush is going to make a serious attempt to win New York. During the last cycle, New York was completely written off by Bush.

If either one of these 2 is competitive for Bush, the Dem candidate can just forget the whole thing, because if Dems have to spend resources in either one of these states (both of which are optional for Bush), they will not be able to challenge Bush in any of his strong states.

Joe, Bush over reaches. His use of fear has been very effective and the smallness of his brain has caused his opposition to underestimate him, but eventually people will figure it out. And when they do, Bush won't be taking NY.
