What Steven wrote makes a lot of sense. Your post was very interesting and analytical. Cheers for that. I am still wide-eyed with wonder that nobody has yet attacked you re your statement that "Al Qaeda was formed – with extensive CIA involvement –* to give Muslims from many different countries an extra-national vehicle for resistance to the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan.*". I said something similar once and got scratched all over by the fierce defenders of the CIA (or something) :) Looking forward to your next analysis...
