Hi Cush, I uninstalled it using Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs. Then I think that I re-installed the Microsoft version of Java. I'll dig around for that link and post it. Of course, then I don't use the DayTrader Workstation anymore because it requires the Sun version of Java. Liam.

Cush If I remember correctly , you don't have to remove the Sun Java , you can just disable, it so that it doesn't work with Internet Explorer. I did it a while ago when I was trying out Interactive Brokers Canadian Brokerage software , but found it was too slow as a java app. for Canada Stockwatch's live ticker. I would have to do a little fishing around to see what I actually did to disable it, but if I remember correctly I believe I just went into the Sun 111.3 program and changed the settings. trade15
