Yes. They are religious Muslims. So are many of the people he has killed What Muslim people has bin Laden killed? and also so are many Iraqis who were fighting the Iranians and the Kurds. I don't know when he's killed Iraqis but from all that is said about him, he considers Saddam almost an infidel. Saddam's is a secular regime.........bin Laden is radical Islam. You think Reagan helped Iraq against the Kurds? Yes. And against the Iranians. Help is fungible in many cases. The help we provided against the Iranians made it easier for him to hit the Kurds, but we did not provide any direct help against the Kurds. Do you really think bin Laden cares about nuances? He is an ideologue.....you either believe what he believes and act like he acts, or you are in an infidel. The US supported Iraq both in their fights with the Kurds and the Iranians. And when we had to the chance to take out Saddam, we passed. That's all that matters to bin Laden........I believe the 1993 WTC bombing was the result. ted
