I doubt very much that your typical airport security guard can explain the difference between Muslims, Hindus, and Sikhs. couldn't agree more. and its not limited to airport security folks. many ordinary folks in the western world fall in the same category.

we are merely profiling, but not doing random searches You gotta do more than profiling, I agree. But start there and move out from there. The present system is designed to annoy the traveling public, with no effect on Terrorists. I would not be surprised to see another Hijack, just because it is so easy to do.
