I don't believe that charts are evidence of anything happening in the future

Thats a bit harsh -lol- but I agree.

Some aspects of charts must reflect buy and sell activity. It's just if I was some real big guy, with zillions in the bank plus zillions of stock.... I could manufacture "buy" and "sell" signals on stocks just by changing my buying and selling activity. I realize to do such a thing may be unlawful of course -g-

I am intrigued by "da cheifs" method of calculating some metric from "penny movement by volume" calculation. Although he is a bit down on his luck for predictions these days (he has so many detractors -g-) I might do some similar calculations one day. I would use a computer though instead of pencil and paper.

Until then, I just have the newly developed "pole metric". Is the pole showing a big drop soon, or is it inserted into the bears butts once again for new vaulting -lol-

"I don't believe that charts are evidence of anything happening in the future"

They are evidence that in the future there will be people who continue to consult charts. Charts are cleaner than bird entrails, though not as reliable. --G--
