There is not much traffic but I have had two or three folks come down the driveway due to the sign. I am sure an 'Open House' sign and a personal website will do the trick. We get a lot of vacation traffic and my place is less than a POS "McMansion" in Novato not to pick on that place but my wife used to live there and I always said WTF would want to live in one of those? when they were building them. As far as condition I have fixed the dry rot, painted, chip sealed the driveway, cut back the tree limbs, wife does the flower gardening, put in a drainage grate yesterday. I am missing a garage put up a tarp under a deck late today. Another disadvantage which may be an advantage is we have two levels and it is separated like a duplex: two fireplaces two kitchens, two living rooms/dens two bedrooms, etc. A bit unusual, but could join the two with a simple 10 foot exterior wall, but it would be perfect for a couple with an elderly parent or used as a home with a vacation rental lots of options. PRICE well I went four doors south yesterday, this is a vacation rental home was listed $1.050 now $825 I went over there was afraid to go down the driveway it was so precarious. Not as nice as mine. by a long shot. Across the way, it is advertised a "spec house" for $2.4 can you believe it? I don't think it will get built. I get morning sun blasting the south side of the house and sunrise and sunset this time of year out the living room windows. Many times I have grabbed the camera, about 20 days each year you get these sunsets unbelievable. Saw green flash several times last winter. Over across the river they are in the shade after 3pm winter time. Timing you got that right asked the wife to sell over a year ago could have got $1.3M . She said no way. We listed Nov 01 you know how that was nobody nowhere now just lowest interest rate in 40 years and looming depression and economic collapse. I would rather be here if it gets really bad than downtown if you know what I mean. As reaper says: Cheers.
