Blogs like this one gives us a feel for what is going on better than a dozen newspapers. I agree. Imshin describes herself as a pretty typical Israeli voter who spent most of her life in the center-left, voting for Labor. That she expresses such support for Sharon now says a lot about why he's going to stay in power, imo. He has behaved in a measured and judicious way that hardly anybody outside Israel (except the Bush administration, thank heaven) gives him credit for, or even acknowledges.
