One also has to question the compulsion to issue a blustery threatening statement. If they had more ammo, then quiet deadly attack would seem more "professional". The " boy, we're going to get you" routine doesn't seem to serve their purpose Agreed -- if the US and Europe are the target audience. But I don't think they are. I think these statements are designed for the Muslim world, which has different traditions regarding verbal bluster.
