It's called conspiracy..... Actually, the plans have been on the drawing board for many years. About 8 years ago the work was to have started, but somehow was quietly cancelled... As a matter of fact, there are also plans ready to double capacity at the Beck station. An all "underground" generating station designed to be esthetically appealing and not ruin the Niagara gorge. Makes you wonder eh.... Good old Hydro days... I bet you they would do it differently if they had a second chance today.
