" Thank you, Bill. It is probably because we have both learned in life that we can change our minds about issues, and that merely having disagreement over issues does not make either of us "bad" people. As well...our emotional well being is not bound to our opinions; and we can survive both being right...and being wrong. X cannot afford to be vulnerable to feelings of respect or tolerance. The manner in which she refused to correct her distortions in her drug "debate" accusations against you, suggest to us the manner in which she has played games in other areas--take the strangely incongruent explanations through which she attempted to belittle and discredit the sincere recollections of Poet and E, for example. She has proven herself untrustworthy and deceitful time and again: this subterfuge against you is surely frustrating and annoying...but it is mild in comparison to other deceptions. She justifies her poor character through her delusions that this is all "pretend" conversation with "pretend" people. Her friendship with E was "pretend"; her friendship with Poet was "pretend". The irony, however, is that she CLEARLY uses SI to vent an ugly rage--and this belies her pretense that the forum holds no emotional importance for her. That is why she wails like a banshee on this thread, and screeches at people with such a vile tongue. She was friends with E and Poet for "entertainment" purposes! How utterly disgusting and pathetic is that?! If she gives you respect it will be "pretend" just as it has been for so many others. In the end she will be what she is. After seeing what her "pretend" friendship did for others...(cough, cough)...I think you should be happy she is exposing the essence of her nature with you! At least she is not "pretending" to be your friend! I think both E and Poet have mainly gotten past the whole thing by now. But how strange it all was, eh?
