Eggsackly... the faithful tend to rely on whatever the "mainstream" opinion tells them to believe.

Ever notice the Taliban requires a militant dismissal of anything not either in the Koran or the interpretation of the Mullahs?

They are as a result militantly ignorant, making reading anything out of the mainstream a capital offense.
