I have found out that if you want anything done right you have to do it yourself. I am going to do a real professional job just like they do in Washington, D.C. where TL is from. You know fancy brochures, pro photos, open houses, 24/7 availability. I know it's not easy. My realtor just left showed the house to a nice couple, the man was wearing a reddish t-shirt said "Texas Dirt Shirt". Is that like Maui Red dirt shirt? I bet he doesn't know a fiver and an old pickup truck can get you some of that dirt. After I sell this place, I am going to mosey on down to West Texas and buy me a great big ranch for a brand new hunnderd dollar bill - <g> Anyway, the realtor is here because she realized that the listing is up EOM and knows I am planning something new. It is not her fault really. I mean you drive buyers around til you can find something they like, cause you never know WTF they will like. I mean last couple that drove up were bitching about the water tank. Didn't ask about the well or water quality, no it was what is that thing there for? Anyway, the realtors seem to think that the sellers' don't need any work done for them cause it is going to sell eventually anyway so once you have scored a listing it is like a slam dunk commision guaranteed. But in this buyer's market, these listings are expiring with zero vigorish to the brokerhouse. The buyer's are waiting for the seller's to BK so they can go down to the courthouse and get out their five dollar bills and snatch up some cheap RE. The sellers are saying FU and taking it off the market or something. Anyway, I decided I am tired of waiting and am now going to sell at a reasonable price. Where are all the SI Big shot stock players anyway? CA ocean property is not like that texas dirt. Where the HedoubleL did all that stock equity go? Offshore banks? Gone to FL and TX homesteading??? Maybe we need a homestead law here. Not likely with the new Nancy P large and in charge, more likely higher RE taxes and mortgages. That will help bidness I am sure?
