I just found a GREAT report (32 pages) date October 22, 2002 Although it is primarily an analysis of the Russian gold industry, the first 8 pages has a FANTASTIC review of the world mining industry (a decade of supply-demand numbers, production/reserve/costs for many miners, etc..) I honestly believe the first 9 pages are a must read for all investors in the gold sector; canada-russia.com P.S. long gone check out figures 6 and 7, and you will see why I made the comment about declining demand last week. Of course, GFMS numbers could still be wrong.
