Ted, I'm not belittling the deaths of hundreds of Aussies. It's despicable, it's cowardly, and it's evil. There is no debate. I am saying that thanks to Bush, Al Qaeda is scattered and disorganized. They are still a major threat, but much less so than they were when the Taliban was still around. <how do you know that?> Why do you keep asking me this? How about I ask you how you seem so sure of Osama's motives? Do we know anything? Because you make these statements that bin Laden is defeated, that he is on the run, that Bush has taken care of him. These statements are like those made by the Bush administration........unfortunately, they're not based on fact. For months, members of the Bush administration intimated that bin Laden was dead. Its surprising but they really didn't know. That's what's so disturbing......the Bushies are great at throwing out suggestions that turn out not to be based on fact. Now they are intimating that they have a good idea of Saddam's weapons arsenal and if Saddam tries to hide any of it, they'll know and he will be road kill. BS.......they don't know.....they make it up as they go along. Now Rumsfield is saying it will take 5 days, 5 weeks, 5 months and no more [to get rid of Saddam]. Sorry but these people are too full of themselves and their import. I thought I made it clear that I knew just as much as you did. So don't hold me up to a standard that you yourself cannot meet. I am not the one who is saying bin Laden is finished. I have worried this one for a while. Its why I get disturbed with all the energy and monies spent on Saddam while the real bad guy is free to plot more problems. ted
